Tamamon
A tamagotchi-inspired creature companion. Name it, pet the egg to hatch, then care for it through feed, sleep, play, touch, and conversation. It grows every 30 seconds and evolves after 1 minute based on nurture quality.

How Tamamon Works
Tamamon is a behavior-design toy. The species is intentionally hidden until hatch, then revealed so the surprise feels earned.
It runs on simple state updates: care actions raise stats, neglect decays them, growth happens every 30 seconds, and evolution happens at 60 seconds.
You can now customize both Tamamon body color and the egg core color before hatch, so each companion starts with a personal visual identity.
The embedded chat uses the same assistant architecture as OPPA, but with a Tamamon-specific companion prompt so it responds in-character. The point of the project is practical: repeated interaction loops can create real attachment signals even when the system is fully mechanical.
